分類: 按嘜號 màihào 系統命名的壓製廠茶。
來自臨滄、保山及鄰近地區的滇西大葉種原料。
8653前最常加上字母形狀標示T，即T8653，其中T表示「鐵餅」tiě bǐng 壓制。四位數嘜號一律代表壓製茶；五位數則代表散茶。
類型: 普洱生茶（「青餅」 qīng bǐng）；形狀為「鐵餅」 tiě bǐng。沱茶 Tuó 則同時生產生、熟兩種版本（生/熟）。
植物學與原料
8653是一款配方拼配 pīnpèi 茶，而非單一寨子的純料。
五級茶菁意味著中等偏粗的原料：既非最細嫩的芽頭，也非最粗老的葉片。這種原料選擇是有意為之：它能賦予茶湯稠度、明顯的苦味 kǔ 以及迅速的苦後回甘 huí gān，並構成適合長期轉化的結構。
追求的是年復一年的風味穩定性，而非追逐稀有的地塊。
