產自臨滄（临沧）、保山及鄰近地區嘅滇西大葉種原料。
8653 通常會加上一個代表形態嘅英文字母 —— T8653，其中 T 就係指「鐵餅」tiě bǐng 嘅壓製方式。四位數冧巴永遠代表緊壓茶；五位數就代表散茶。
Type: 普洱生茶（生，「青餅」qīng bǐng 青饼）；「鐵餅」形態 tiě bǐng（铁饼）。 Tuó（沱）則有生、熟兩種版本（生/熟）。
8653 係一款配方拼配（pīnpèi 拼配）茶，而唔係單一寨子嘅純料。
五級茶青意味住係中等偏粗嘅原料：唔係最嫩嘅芽頭，亦都唔係最粗糙嘅老葉。咁樣選擇原料係刻意嘅：佢為茶湯帶嚟醇厚嘅質感、明顯嘅苦韻 kǔ（苦）同快速嘅回甘 huí gān（回甘），以及一種為長期轉化而設嘅結構。
旨在保持每年風味輪廓嘅穩定，而唔係追求稀有地塊。
