Category: 雪片係單叢入面嘅一個季節性類別，而唔係一個獨立嘅標準單位。準確嚟講應該係「烏崬雪片黃枝香」，而唔係就咁叫「雪片品種」。
烏崬出產一種傳奇類型，以「宋種黃枝香 = 烏崬宋茶 = 東方紅」呢幾個名為代表 —— 暗示有關茶樹可追溯至宋代嘅傳說。
Origin: 廣東省東部潮州地區嘅鳳凰山（Fènghuáng shān 鳳凰山）；其中嘅烏崬（烏岽）係山脈最高、最負盛名嘅部分，集中咗最古老嘅茶樹。
Type: 烏龍（青茶 qīngchá / 烏龍 wūlóng）。
單叢嘅標準採收時節係春季（主要採收），之後係夏茶同秋茶。雪片係一年入面最後、最遲嘅收成，喺天氣轉涼之後嘅秋末冬初採摘。「雪片」呢個名係指季節，而唔係茶葉外觀。
軟水，約莫95–100 °C。
同單叢慣例一樣，要高密度（大概每15毫升水落1克茶葉）。
快衝快出，頭幾泡幾秒鐘，之後逐漸延長時間；優質嘅高山雪片好耐泡，可以保持花香調，而且唔會變苦澀。
Teaware: 蓋碗或者細容量嘅宜興茶壺。
