- 与其他茶的比较* 天柱剑毫（*Tiānzhù jiàn háo*）： 安庆同市天柱山所产的扁形“剑状”茶。 * 都督翠茗（*Dūdū cuìmíng*）： 巢湖之滨都督山所产的安徽扁形茶，其形状被比作竹笋。 * 蒙顶甘露（*Méngdǐng gānlù*）： 四川蒙山所产的卷曲形茶。1915 年县志将龙池尖茶与蒙顶茶泛泛相比，而非专指此品种。结语：龙池香尖是怀宁县低山地带所产的一种扁形绿茶：干茶“形扁似矛”，香气清高，滋味醇爽。其历史依托于 1915 年县志中的一句记载，其现状则依托于两份描述略有差异的保护文件。
