Liubaon tee on tummaa teetä (hēichá, 黑茶), joka on peräisin Liubaon (六堡) vuoristokylästä ja lähiseuduilta Cāngwússa (苍梧) Wúzhōun (梧州) alueella.
Origin: Itäinen Guǎngxī; sama alue kuin kaikella liubaolaisella teellä.
Type: chóng chá (虫茶 / 虫屎茶) — ”hyönteistee”, kapea-alainen tuote liubaolaisen katalogin laidalla, jota pidetään harvinaisuutena ja paikallisena perinteenä (特异) eikä lajikkeellisena 六堡-teenä.
Ei hento nuppu, vaan kaikkein karkein, kypsin ja halvin lehti — käsittelyyn käytetty vanha lehti (老叶, lǎo yè).
Erillistä kultivaaria ei ole; käytetään samaa paikallista lajiketyyppiä kuin muuhunkin liubaolaiseen teehen — guǎngxīläisiä suuri- ja keskilehtisiä populaatiolajikkeita (大中叶), jotka tuottavat massiivisen, paksun ja syvään fermentointiin taipuvaisen lehden.
