Camellia sinensis var. assamica גדול-עלים (云南大叶种), חומר גלם מעצים עתיקים (gǔshù 古树).

במסגרת דירוג המסלול הכללי (רמת מחוז → רמת הר מפורסם → רמת כפר) לאו מאן-אה שייך לרמת הכפר ובדרג S – זהו שיא כפרי השם, חומר גלם מופתי, נדיר, אך עדיין נופל במעט מהחומר שבפסגה המוחלטת (S+).

Origin: כפר לאו מאן-אה, נפת מנגדהאי (勐海), המחוז האוטונומי שישואנגבאנה של בני הדאי (西双版纳), רכס הרי בולאנג-שאן (布朗山, bùlǎngshān), יונאן, סין.

Type: שנג פואר (生普, פואר נא/״ירוק״).
