Classification and Origin
Category: gan pu cha (柑普茶, gān pǔ chá); late-ripening variant — Da Hong Gan (大红柑, dà hóng gān).
Xinhui Chenpi (新会陈皮, Xīn huì chén pí) — aged mandarin peel, valued in China simultaneously as a spice, a traditional product, and a collectible. Xinhui Chenpi is protected in China as a geographical indication product; it is believed that fruit grown outside the county yields a peel of a different, less prized quality.
Origin: Xinhui County (新会, Xīn huì), part of Jiangmen City (江门, Jiāng mén) in the western Guangdong Province, within the Pearl River Delta.
Type: composite tea (whole mandarin peel filled with pu'er).

Chazhigan (茶枝柑, chá zhī gān) — a local variety of mandarin (Citrus reticulata), also called Xinhui Gan.
