Naka

Category: puer as a geographically protected product of Yunnan (GB/T line "地理标志产品 普洱茶").

Classification and Origin

Category: puer as a geographically protected product of Yunnan (GB/T line "地理标志产品 普洱茶").

Lahu village (拉祜, Lāhù 寨).

S tier, "村寨级" grading (village level) — a reputational-terroir category, not a normative one.

there are two toponyms "Mengsong" in Xishuangbanna — one in Jinghong County, the other in Menghai. Naka belongs to the Menghai Mengsong, and they must not be confused, as the tea character of the two areas differs.

Origin: Xishuangbanna · Menghai (西双版纳·勐海), Mengsong mountain range (Měngsòng, 勐宋) — specifically the Menghai Mengsong.

Type: sheng puer (生普) — raw/unripe puer of natural aging.

Botany and Raw Material

Yunnan large-leaf assortment (大叶种, dàyèzhǒng), typical for Xishuangbanna sheng.

古树 (gǔshù) — old trees.

in the cool high-mountain conditions of Mengsong, the leaf gains density and aromatic complexity more slowly and evenly than in hot lowlands. The old-tree material here is valued precisely for its composure: deep "厚" (dense, thick body) with high, pure aroma and clear saccharine sweetness, without the heavy bitterness that defines neighboring Da Mengsong or Bulang villages like Lao Man'e.

the old garden is limited, which keeps Naka in the upper price and reputational niche of the mountain range.
